Good morning to you all! I hope you’re enjoying lots of outdoor spring activities. I am hosting a barbecue tomorrow, so I hope the weather will be fine. If not I have my trusty Arctic Cabin to retreat to!
To prepare for this barbecue, I am going shopping for squid, prawns and lamb chops, the last of which I will marinate with rosemary, garlic and sun-dried tomatoes in oil. I’ll also make little chicken burgers for the kids.

Buongiorno readers and I hope your weekend is going to be fun and full of cooking. Today I have planned to give my children a pasta masterclass which will involve making pasta from scratch. Then we’ll make a delicious ragu with organic mince.
This week’s book is Clean Cakes by Henrietta Inman with great pictures by Lisa Linder. This book has a wealth of original recipes with distinctive flavour combinations and intriguing twists on classics such as the tiramisu mousse using coconut oil.
