Everyone loves a traditional Christmas dinner, with turkey, roast potatoes and indulgent puds. But I promise you it can be made even better with a few ingenious twists I’ve learned over my decades as a chef and restaurant owner.

I like to be very organised for Christmas but I always forget something. This year I haven’t found time to make any mince pies but luckily Neil Nugent, Executive Chef for Iceland Foods, popped along to the Soho Radio studio, while I was doing my show, with his award-winning mince pies.
